Professional Suicide (2025–Present)
A new stage play currently in development with the Young Vic.
Longlisted for the Northeast Playwrights Award 2026.
Having worked as a TV producer at both ITV and BBC in a former life, Scott’s latest piece is both a play and an expose, using first person accounts and parliamentary transcripts to pick apart the brutal world of reality television.

Nacht (2022–23)
Opera
Commissioned by the Royal Ballet & Opera. Presented in the Clore Studio as part of Family Sundays.
Nacht is a short family opera and prequel to The Magic Flute, reimagining the relationship between the Queen of the Night and a young Pamina. Combining Mozart's music with original text, it follows a daughter eager for independence and a mother learning to let her go.
Helen (2021)
Immersive / VR Performance
Commissioned by Battersea Arts Centre.
In 1989, a young chemist named Helen Sharman answered a radio advert looking for an astronaut. Two years later, she became the first Briton in space. Helen tells her story through physical theatre, ensemble performance, and a distinctly working-class lens.Originally commissioned by Battersea Arts Centre as a virtual reality project, it was later presented at the Barbican, VAULT Festival, Mountjoy Open Air Theatre, and CAPA College.
Grip (2019)

Winner of the International Youth Arts Festival Audience Choice Award and the Peggy Ramsay Award.
GRIP is a play about masculinity, mental health, and justice, following a young man whose grief and fractured sense of reality bring him into conflict with the legal system. Originally presented at the Tristan Bates Theatre, it won the International Youth Arts Festival Audience Choice Award and the Peggy Ramsay Award.

MEIWES/BRANDES (2017–18)

Meiwes/Brandes is a semi-verbatim musical inspired by the relationship between Armin Meiwes and Bernd Brandes. Using original music alongside court transcripts and personal correspondence, it tells a story of obsession, loneliness, and intimacy. Presented at the Tristan Bates Theatre.

Nothing to Perform (2017)

Nothing to Perform follows three caretakers working in the performing arts department of a university in north-east England. Frustrated by the lives they've built and the opportunities they've missed, they decide to put on a play. This is the story of why it never happens. Presented at the Cockpit Theatre.
