Scott Howland
 

a bit of background

Scott graduated from Salford University with an honours degree in Media and Performance. After leaving Salford he gained a PGCE at Manchester Metropolitan University and went on to work as a drama teacher at several schools in Manchester. Scott then spent the next three years at Media City working as a Researcher and then as an Assistant Producer on several shows for both ITV and BBC.

Eventually Scott moved to London to work on Britain's Got Talent’s 10th anniversary series as one of the Assistant Producers before leaving to travel throughout South America, Asia and Australia.

Scott returned to education to study an MA in Text and Performance at RADA. During his MA Scott has also worked on several multinational ad campaigns for the likes of Tesco and Virgin Media, as well as producing and starring in his own play as part of the Camden Fringe Festival. Scott recently worked at the National Theatre, devising and directing a piece as part of a movement based theatre company called 'The Pappy Show' who were selected to work at the National as part of the their 'Space to Create' programme.

Most recently, he collaborated on a new musical which was chosen to appear as part of the inaugural John Thaw Initiative at the Tristan Bates Theatre. More information on that show can be found at www.meiwesbrandes.com
